To provide free health services to these deprived families, the state government has decided to launch Abua Health Insurance Scheme, which has been announced recently by the Chief Minister of the state Champai Soren. On 26 June 2024, the Chief Minister announced the implementation of Abua Swasthya Bima Yojana 2024, under which eligible families will be provided free treatment up to Rs.15 lakh.

The objective of this scheme is to provide relief to poor families from health related problems and provide them financial security.
