NEET PG Counselling 2024, Fee, Cutoff, Apply Online The registration process for Round 1 NEET PG counselling 2024 has begun. However, students are eagerly waiting for the release of the complete schedule of the counselling process. The Medical Counselling Committee will soon release the schedule for the NEET PG counselling 2024 process. NEET PG counselling is conducted for admission to the All India Quota seats offered for PG medical programmes in medical colleges and universities. Candidates should note that the online registration and application process for NEET PG Counselling 2024 has already begun. Candidates who have cleared their NEET PG 2024 exam can register through the link available on the official website.
A total of three counselling rounds will be conducted to fill the vacant seats after the counselling round, followed by a mop-up round to fill the vacant seats. Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG 2024 Counselling
- To be eligible for NEET PG 2024 counselling, candidates must fulfil certain rules set by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Firstly, applicants must have marks equal to or above the cutoff set by the MCC. This means that they must score more than a certain percentage of marks in the NEET PG 2024 exam to qualify for counselling.
- Candidates must pass their MBBS exams and complete a one-year internship by August 15, 2024. Without completing the internship, they cannot participate in counselling.
- The cutoff percentage for NEET PG 2024 counselling varies as per the category. For general candidates, the cutoff is the 50th percentile. For general category PWD candidates, the cutoff is the 45th percentile. SC, ST and OBC candidates must score at least the 40th percentile.
- MCC will soon announce the actual cutoff scores for these percentiles. These scores will help candidates to know if they are eligible for the upcoming counselling.
